ABOUT ME

Liza Butler
Dip.Couns
Registered MBACP

My name is Liza, I am a natural empath. I have always been passionate about helping others so it's perhaps no surprise that in my adult life, I've been drawn towards jobs where I am in a position to do this. But this isn't just something that I do, it is who I am.
I have over 13 years of experience working with adults who have found themselves in vulnerable positions and I love my work. I have experience in support, key work and counselling. I've spent the majority of my career helping adults through transitions such as homelessness, addiction and mental health issues. I am fully qualified and certified and always looking to learn more and implement that learning in my work.

I work with a holistic view, taking an interest in engaging and helping you develop as a whole person. I take on the perspective that the different parts of us, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual all deserve the same amount of respect and understanding to get a true multi-dimensional perspective of how we act and react in this thing called life.

Alongside my private practice I also work as a sessional counsellor at the Suttons Womens Centre. As a registered member of the Bristish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy I adhere to their ethical prinicpals and offer a safe place to my clients, somewhere to share confidentially without fear of judgement or reprisal. I look forward to working alongside you and helping you on your journey.
